Marion E. Neel, Jr. (Capt’n Khaos)

I am Marion E. Neel, Jr. a/k/a Capt’n Khaos, from College Station, Texas and I love racing lawnmowers!! I saw my first race in Bryan, Texas in May of 2008. The deep throated rumble of those mowers during that race just moved my soul. Afterwards, I couldn’t wait to talk with the racers to ask how to get involved with this excitement. By September of 2008, I entered my first race. I built a racer for the IMOW Class from my late Mother’s lawnmower. I purchased a racing mower from Mike Cupps to race in the B/P Class. I placed 2nd in both classes during the 2009 Season. I had a lot to learn about building a racing mower and racing. The support I have from this group of people is overwhelming. I am addicted to the sport and the chance to get “away” from it all with my LSMRA friends. “It’s a full-time job being Marion Neel.”
