The LSMRA held a 50-50 Raffle at the October 26, 2024 Race in Gun Barrel City, Texas.  The winner was Darwin Patrick (right), from Mt. Vernon, Texas.  Also featured is his son, Curtis Patrick (left) of Driscoll, Texas.  Darwin and Curtis read about the LSMRA in the October 2025 issue of Texas  Power Coop Magazine. After reading the article, they had to see what it was all about.  The person in the middle of the photo is Brian Crull, GBC Mayor, who, by the way, also does the announcing for the LSMRA races in GBC.  As for the rest of the story ... Darwin won a whopping $400.00 in the 50-50 Raffle.  Darwin said, "I am donating the winnings back to the LSMRA.  The $5.00 for the raffle ticket is the best money I have spent."
