I have an aunt, Debbie Hobbs, who introduced me to mower racing in 2020. She was getting out of mower racing and at an LSMRA Race, she let me race her mower. That did it for me! Her husband, my uncle Kelvin, has helped me find mowers, and parts, and helped with mechanics along the way. I now race mowers (in three classes: GPS, SP and FXS), build racing mowers and do my best to recruit new members. It isn’t hard to get them “HOOKED”.
