Blaze Scheid

Blaze Scheid, 15, from Maypearl, Texas, is a homeschooled student and part time small engine mechanic.

 

After going to see a race last fall, Blaze was hooked. This year will be Blaze’s first full year racing in the GPS Class after starting in March. Blaze stated he loves racing in general, and races mowers for the thrill of it. He hopes to be able to move up to some faster classes soon and would love to get into dirt track racing as well.

 

Outside of racing, Blaze is really good at fixing engines. He also interns weekly at a company that modifies mowers and golf carts for people with disabilities to be able to use.
