Anna Neel (#7) here and my first race was as a “fill in” in the S/P Class in Somerville, Texas in 2012. My brother and his wife were at the race and thought I would “choke”. Well, the lead racer ran into the haybales in turn 1 and I went around him and WON that race! Yep. Had to race again. I now run in the A/P Class … against my husband. Got to get into another class. I think he is after me.
