Peggy Sue is the name of my fancy, sparkley, red racing mower; my name is Patti Akin. My husband, Eddy Akin, and I are from Prescott, Arkansas and I have been a member of the LSMRA since 2007. My mower is ready for the C/P class and it ROARS. I have helped my husband build his mowers and mine. Yes, I know a wrench from a screw driver and a fly wheel from a transmission. As of the season of 2009, I was elected Treasurer and have been the Flagger for the LSMRA races. I share my husband’s passion for the races and I am proud to be a part of this group.
