I am Jay Jones from College Station, Texas. I have known about lawn mower racing for quite a while and just never had an opportunity to race. That opportunity came knocking on my door for a race that was in Gun Barrel City, Texas on March 26, 2021. I can’t tell you how pumped I was with anticipation. I made a few practice laps on the track and patiently waited for the race to begin. When the race started, it was ON! All I can say is, “Lawn mower racing is my NEW ADDICTION!” I started in the AP Class and am now having a BLAST racing in the FXS Class.
