My name is Dennis Drake. I am from Kingsland, Texas and was born in 1952. My racing mowers and I are not named. I am still looking for those perfect names. I race in the IMOW, S/P, C/P and B/P classes and have been racing since 2005. I was 3rd in IMOW in 2005 and 2nd in B/P in 2006. I always wanted to race something and after coming within inches of loosing my life and that of my wife’s, I decided that I will live every day like it is my last, cause one day it will be. I have tinkered with small engines for over 30 years and enjoy it. Working on my mowers is the best stress relief that I have found yet. I look forward to going to the races, not just for the adrenaline of racing, but more importantly, to see all the folks I call friends from the LSMRA.
