Jim Burk, racing number B17 from Chanute, Kansas. Jim traveled far and wide to race lawnmowers. He brought his children to the races and enjoyed the WHOLE race, from packing up his mowers to traveling to the races, RACING and the trip back home. He traveled anywhere from 10 – 14 hours to race with the LSMRA. Jim had a heart attack at a race in Kansas on March 1, 2014. He passed away doing what he loved to do – RACE! Jim will be missed!!
